The Brando

The Brando is an exclusive five-star resort with 35 luxurious villas on the breath-taking private atoll of Tetiaroa, about 50 km north of Tahiti. During the shooting of “Mutiny of the Bounty”, Marlon Brando fell in love with Tetiaroa and purchased the atoll. Inspired by his original vision The Brando became a pioneer of sustainable technology, luxury and Polynesian culture. In addition it is the first resort to be awarded a LEED Platinum certificate. Up to 20 scientists, supported by the Tetiaroa society are permanently exploring and investigating the flora and fauna of the atoll.
